Hello and welcome to my shop! I'm Mari, a 35-year-old woman living in the Swedish countryside. I'm the one who designs, makes, models, packs and ships all items in this store, as well as all other tasks involved in managing a small business. I started selling my shawls in 2017 on Etsy, and it's now my only income. I studied 2 years at textile and design school and my main craft is weaving, but I enjoy other crafts as well, such as sewing and pattern design. My inspiration comes from nature, fantasy and fairy tales, and I love earthy colors and textures. I take all photos myself, of myself, using a tripod and a remote control. No AI is being used to create my photos.

All shawls, scarves and hoods on this page are handwoven by me in my home using self-made looms. One shawl takes between a few hours up to several days to make, depending on size and material. I love to use uneven, irregular yarns in earthy colors to create a unique texture. They are soft, warm and made from wool, and I only make a few of the same kind. I always strive to produce as little waste as possible, so all the scrap yarn is being used to create my unique "scrap yarn shawls". Even the shortest pieces of yarn are being used. The pieces of yarn that are too short to weave with I save for later and when I have enough I turn it into new yarn, or sometimes wall art.
