Big handwoven Skjoldehamn inspired hood in green wool and alpaca.

This is a big handwoven hood inspired by the early medieval Skjoldehamn hood. It's woven with thick wool and alpaca yarn in green shades, creating a unique and beautiful texture. It's warm, soft, thick and suitable for autumn, winter or spring. This is my version of the Skjoldehamn hood, it's only inspired by the original find, not a reconstruction. This hood is for both men and women. 

Measurements (approx): 
Front length (from neck to tip): 43 cm/16.9 inch.
Hood depth (from front to back of the hood): 46 cm/18.1 inch
Hood height (face opening): 41 cm/ 16.1 inch
The measurements are approximate, they can vary +/- 1-3 cm /0,3-1,1 inch.

Shoulder width: 52 cm /20.4 inch
General clothing size: S-M
Length: 166 cm/ 5'5 
This hood is unisex and fits best on shoulder width from 53cm/20 inch to 66cm/26 inch. 
 
Materials:
65% wool, 35% alpaca
Gently hand wash separately in cold water, do not tumble dry, do not iron. 
When not in use store rolled up or on a hanger, not folded, and away from direct sunlight.
